Oh what fun we had yesterday! We were under a high wind warning all day, a severe thunderstorm watch for several hours, a sever thunderstorm warning for an hour, and a tornado watch for a couple of hours. Our power went off at 2pm yesterday and is still off at 5pm today. Thank goodness for our generator!
Not much writing has gotten done. My desktop is shut down, my laptop is trying to synch, and I didn’t get much sleep.
- Tomorrow I’ll write, at least a bit, but next week is busy.
- Monday they are coming out to inspect our roof (we lost a lot of shingles in the wind).
- Tuesday we are headed into a neighboring town for shopping (& returns), along with dinner & movie date (although it will be lunch & a movie date).
- Wednesday I hope to finish up our tax stuff for our accountant.
- Thursday – hey, I might have time to write some.
- Friday, one of our pups goes to the vet for minor surgery. Oh, and our pest control company is coming.
But hey, life is good!
