I just found the official A-Z Blog Challenge information for 2023, and decided to go for it again. I did my first A-Z in 2012 where I wrote flash fiction. I turned all those short posts into a book, A to Z in 10 by 10 (now available for free if you sign up for my newsletter). I participated again in 2014 and 2017. In 2018, I did it on both this blog and my personal blog. Now THAT was a challenge. 2019 was the last year I participated although I had set everything up for 2020 when health issues took over and it never got done.

So onward to 2023! I hope you will stop by daily for my snapshot of my random thoughts and memories connected to each letter. I’m looking forward to sharing my…

  1. This sounds interesting, Donna. Just this morning I was reminded of a line about finding happiness in simplicity. Now I will be reading about it on your blog. Looking forward to it.

    1. Thanks…and I just added a second one to my authorshutterbug.com site. Yup, a glutton for punishment. LOL!

  2. Like you, it’s been a few years since I participated. I won’t be able to this year either as I get ready for my trip to Italy next month. Will try again next year. But I look forward to reading yours!

    1. Can’t wait to hear about the trip and see your photos. We will have less than a week in Rome (a couple of days on either side of our Mediterranean cruise).

  3. I love that you turned it into a free newsletter read. I plan to do something similar next year, but didn’t have time with my last minute jump on for this year. Looking forward to your 2023 challenge posts

    1. Thanks, it was my first reader magnet before I wrote any short stories for that. I think we will enjoy each others posts this year.

  4. Maybe next to Z a bunch of us can get together and so short flash fiction pieces on the same daily image. (I am trying to be a planner) – looking forward to visiting your blog

    1. I used to do this with several blogs that shared images, it was always fun. Now I’m busy writing books so kind of dropped out of them. It could be fun to do one or two a month.

  5. Good luck with this one, Donna. I hope the health problems have eased. I’m glad I started preparing mine early as I’ve got hand problems now. 🙁
    Have a good April
