Where did the weekend go? What happened to Monday? Tuesday is gone, too? Oh my!
What about my word count? Did I make it? Um, well…I did have to do some research. And then there was a new character and I had to build her background. You can never escape from the laundry and housecleaning. Plus the #2doods had to get bath using our new setup on our back deck. Oh, and a trip to a neighboring town to buy something not available locally (the most amazing hats on clearance for only $3 each), then a stop at the Verizon store to talk about an upgrade.
Yeah, I know. Excuses – they’re a dime a dozen and I’ve got a million (why aren’t I rich?). And in one more day, I’m supposed to be moving up from 500 words a day to 1000 a day. Eeep!
So where am I now? Check out the graph below! I’m so excited I made up the three days I missed…but I have to think 1000-1500 a day will be my max. Projected out, that means a first draft finish around 7/21 for approximately 40k words. Don’t hold me to that…but it does look like I should have the first draft done before the end of July. Then the edits start….BLECH!
