I love it when you meet someone and you immediately click. This is what happened back in 2014 when I attended my first Writer’s Police Academy. One of the authors I met was JB Lynn. She writes amazing mystery books with quirky characters, which I love. We friended on Facebook and have stayed in touch ever since.

She moved from Florida to North Carolina and when she realized how close I was to her route to Nashville for the Killer Nashville event, she asked if we could meet for lunch.

So we did! We had a great time, chatting, and getting to know each other better.

If you’ve never heard of her, I highly recommend trying her Confessions of a Slightly Neurotic Hitwoman books. I have bought every single one – book #40 is due out next month. She also writes the Psychic Consignment Mysteries, the Cursed Chicks Club, the Kiki Long Mysteries, and the Matchmaker Mysteries. And yes, I have almost all of these as well (but unread due to time).

    1. I have those but haven’t read them. Be sure to try her neurotic hitwoman series. SOOOO funny! I love her characters. She is the one who inspired me to try writing in first person when I wrote AN ELFING MESS.

  1. Just downloaded the first 6 books in the hitwoman series… looking forward to reading them on my next cruise.

    1. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. I told her I’m about 5-6 books behind and when I do read again, I’m starting at the very beginning. I love her quirky characters and I can picture them all in my head.
