A to Z of Small Delights, Simple Pleasures, & Significant Memories
Yummy Small Delights, Simple Pleasures, & Significant Memories… (yes, I fudged a bit on this one)
- York Peppermint Patties: I loved them as a kid, I love them still today.
- Yellowstone National Park: My favorite park – I’ve been through there at least four times and from all four directions. I never tire of it.
- Yellow flowers: Yellow daisies, buttercups, roses, you name it. For some reason I love yellow flowers.
- Young animals: I guess it’s the miniature thing – I love miniatures (hmmm, maybe should have used that for the letter M) and miniature animals are the cutest!
- Yoga stretches: While I haven’t done it in years, I remember how good they felt (once I got past the initial days). Now it’s mostly chair yogs.
- Yummy food: We all have different ones. Mine is lasagna, meatloaf, and pizza. Oh, and toss in apple pie and ice cream. What’s yours?
What are your yummy small delights, simple pleasures and significant memories?
Thank you.
Yummy food – I miss certain yummy foods from England. Whenever I go home for a visit I have to get pork pies, sausage rolls, fish and chips, Chinese food with prawn crackers, but most of all I have to have ‘real’ bacon in a bacon and egg sandwich.
It’s back bacon, not streaky like what you get here in the USA. Mostly meat with just a small runs of fat.
Now there are a lot of yummy foods here in the USA too, but I just miss those that I mentioned. They’re comfort foods.
I completely understand – I look forward to some real fish and chips and real bacon when we visit Scotland.
York Peppermint Patties! Yum, indeed!
You’re right, yellow flowers have a special emotion, I love them, too, especially yellow-white ones, like daisies.
Daisies are my all-time favorite flower.
York Peppermint Patties!
I can taste them now…
I loved Yellowstone too. I’d like to go back one day.
My favorite park, I’ve been through it half a dozen times – all on motorcycle.
Haha, you did yellow flowers too!
My favorites 🙂
A lot of us did, the second was Yucca. LOL!
Yellowstone has been on my bucket list ever since I was a kid and a friend sent me a picture post card from there. Great photo!
I’ve been there half a dozen times, all on motorcycle. It’s different every time. It’s my #1 favorite national park.
Y for Yes is my yummiest Y. I love the positivity in any response to a question I pose.
Yay! Great add to the Y list…
Yellow flowers played a prominent role in my wedding bouquet last year. Yummy foods would include homemade egg custard.
Gotta say no on the custard…sorry. LOL!
