A to Z of Small Delights, Simple Pleasures, & Significant Memories

Wonderful Small Delights, Simple Pleasures, & Significant Memories…

  • Waterfalls: New England, Montana, Wyoming, Hawaii, and yes, Tennessee. I’ve seen so many and never tire of them.
  • Wildflowers: I love the states that plant native wildflowers along the highways. So many kinds and colors.
  • Wooden bridges: They are getting fewer and far between, and I was never a big fan of taking my motorcycle over them, but they are wondrous to view.
  • Weeping willow trees: Next to my favorite birch trees is the beautiful weeping willow. Their grace and beauty always captivates me.
  • Walking in the woods: As a child, I spent many hours walking through the woods across the street from our home. During my three years in Pennsylvania, walks through the Allegheny Forest behind our home were a treat at any time of year.
  • Wedding photos: Mine, yours, anyones. The start of a new adventure with a lot of love shared. Formal, informal, and in between, they’re all good.

  1. Wanderlust: spontaneously taking a different route for my walk or a drive and finding something new that makes me smile, laugh or say Oooooo.

  2. I like your wedding photo. I like the informality of it. If I ever get married, that’s the way I’d like to do it.

I find my greatest joy in writing. There’s a good W-word! Stringing words together is the most wonderful thing in the world to me.

  3. I definitely have a lovely Wedding memory; and I love any body of Water.
