No, not me. Heck, I’m supposed to already be retired. But for now, I am changing the frequency of this blog. When I started blogging in 2012, I blogged daily. I continued that for a couple of years, then moved to a couple times a week. As time when on, I opted to change to a once a week format.

That said, I will still post information about my books – new releases, sales, and what not. So keep following along, I just won’t be posting Monday posts every week. Posts will be sporadic, but know I’m not completely stopping.

Follow me on Instagram

Oh, and you can now follow me on Instagram! I will try to share on there daily, a meme or a photo, or something fun. Be sure to tell your friends who love to read mysteries, too!

And don’t forget my newsletter – I still send two of them amonth. The first of every month McNicol Mysteries: Murderous Intentions & More comes out and features several books as well as special promotions for all mystery genres (and sometimes a little romance or children’s books). On the fifteenth of every month I send out McNicol Cozies: Mischief & Misdemeanors and feature 99% cozy mysteries and promotions. You can sign-up &/or see a sample HERE.

Now I’m off to work on book one in my Red Line Coffee Mystery series, Ventis & Victims. My hope is to get it published in early March.

Ciao for now!

  1. We had been retired several years when we moved to Ecuador. This of course required getting set up in the medical system, seeing a general Dr and various specialists. One day we had just gotten into a taxi after an appointment when my husband got a call. We were being invited to an informal event but had to quickly check our calendar before acceting. My husband said that he had never imagined scheduling social events around Drs appointments.

    1. We said the same thing when we lived in Cuenca. We’d never needed a social calendar…so funny! Retirement ends up being busier than ever!

  2. I peeked at your schedule, Donna. I wouldn’t dare to post mine. It would be an invitation to the Universe to derail me. Looks like it’s working for you, so yay! Good luck with your Red Line Coffee Mystery series. I’ve already been derailed myself this morning by a furnace quitting in very cold weather. All is well now. Take care!
