A to Z of Small Delights, Simple Pleasures, & Significant Memories
Greatest Small Delights, Simple Pleasures, & Significant Memories…
- Grandchildren: If we had our grandchildren first, we wouldn’t have bothered with having kids. Right? Seriously, almost all of our grandkids are adults and several have provided us with great-grandchildren. What joy!
- Goldendoodles: They may be Goldendoodles by breed, but our boys are both black. We love them to pieces and can’t imagine life without Cooper (aka Tigger) and Murphy (aka Eeyore).
- Garlic Bread: Oh my, that first bite of warm garlic bread!
- Greek Salad: The real kind, without lettuce, served in a Greek restaurant. Yum!
- Good health: We are both blessed with good health. Yes, we have a few issues, but nothing major that will stop us from growing to a nice old age.
What are your greatest small delights, simple pleasures and significant memories?

Thank you.
Thank you.
All the above plus gifts of friendship and family.
Yes!
cute and probably true for some
Thanks, and I appreciate the drop in…
My thoughts chime with yours 🙂
Glad to hear it, thanks for dropping in.
Oh yes, garlic bread and Greek salad. Now I’m hungry.

Me, too!
Nice list. I’d add the green color that only Spring can deliver.
Good one!
I too have been fortunate in being blessed with relatively good health. My brother and sisters who were always more physically fit than I have all been suffering with knee and hip replacements and other maladies. I’m the oldest but now I seem to be in better shape than they are. One of my sisters now says that maybe she shouldn’t have been doing all the running and exercise she used to do.
I rarely see my grandchildren, but I am so proud of how they’ve been turning out. I’ve got to give a lot of credit for the good job my daughters and their husbands have been doing.

Wonderful to hear! And I agree about kids, grands and our great-grands. We are blessed, even if we don’t see them that often.
What a nice list of joys you’re amassing. Some I share, some are different for me, but I always enjoy people appreciating the little things.
Good Golden Galloping Guide
The little things are definitely on my list…off to read your blog.
This reads like a G is for gratitude post. 🙂
Yes it does…and I think many of the things I mention during my A-Z posts come under gratitude.
Gee. What a great list of great things. Going to Greece in June and looking forward to Greek Salad when it will just be salad.
We will port in Greece during our cruise next fall, can’t wait! Enjoy your time there.
Yes to the grands, I have to add Google, because I use it frequently!
Perfect – Google (I use it all the time).
Love today’s list but Methinks you need a doggie door.
Won’t work with our double French doors. Eventually we’ll move a side fence up to the front edge of the garage and put in a doggie door there. We planned to do that when we rebuild the deck.
I would add Grapes, Girl’s Day with the Granddaughters, and Giggles. Just typing the word giggles makes me Grin.
Me, too (giggles). I haven’t had grapes in forever, too many carbs. Sniff…
