Tuesday morning writing view

We took off on the first leg of our cruise on Monday, leaving Port Canaveral on the Carnival Magic. This is a six day cruise, then back to Port Canaveral where we stay on board for another six days. Yes, it’s risky. But so is going to the local grocery store, movie theater, fast food restaurant, etc. We are vaccinated and boostered, we are wearing N95 or KN95 masks unless in our cabin or eating/drinking. Everyone else on the ship is doing the same, Carnival insists. We wash our hands and use hand sanitizer often. If we get Omicron, we get it. We are enjoying ourselves as best we can.

AND, I’m writing! I’m trying for four hours a day and so far have finished one chapter and almost done with a second. Ventis & Victims, book one in the Red Line Coffee mystery series is on the way! Don’t ask me when it will be done…LOL! But it feels good to be working on it again.

  1. Where does the cruise go? Why the staying on board after you’re back at Canaveral?

  2. Ohh, this is lovely! Our cruise in May is eight days from Port Canaveral, but I think I’m going to try to get more writing done. So many inspiring places to sit on a cruise ship. Are you working on the Lido decks or elsewhere?

    1. Most of the time it’s from the Lido deck so I have a view. On the Conquest class I love the deck raised over the Lido, I can people watch and sit beside the beverage machines. Other times I used the more comfortable chairs on the lower decks, just have to check them ou each time.
