Our bags are packed and we almost ready to leave on our big European adventure. It all starts on Monday.

First, we drive to Florida, visit family, then head to the cruise port. From there, it’s on to Barcelona with a few port stops along the way. A couple of sightseeing days, then it’s off to Rome where we will do a little sightseeing before taking a ten day Mediterranean cruise with port stops on eight days before landing back in Rome. A little more sightseeing, then we fly to Edinburgh for ten days. We are taking a five day guided tour of the Highlands, the rest will be spent sightseeing in Edinburgh before flying back to Barcelona for the return cruise to Florida.

I will have my laptop. I will, hopefully, have WiFi most of the trip. I’ve read the signal can be lost for days while crossing the Atlantic. Don’t fear…photos will be posted as soon as I get a signal back. You will be able to follow along on my Instagram account. For those of you interested in my journey with wool, I have set a personal challenge to wear at least one wool item during the two months of vacation. Those will be posted to my personal/private Instagram account, @donna_in_wool. But, those pictures will probably be in my main IG account as well.

Any blogging that is done, will be on my personal account. You can sign up to follow HERE.

Ciao!

    1. That’s one reason we haven’t booked excursions at all the port stops. I don’t want to be exhausted or injured before our time in Scotland. That’s the most important part of the trip for me.

  1. So glad you and Stu are going on this grand adventure! So, you know me … What 2 ships?
    Have a blast!
    Hugs, Chris

    1. Carnival Freedom to Barcelona and Carnival Pride around the Mediterranean. Then back home on the Holland America Oosterdam. That was supposed to be on the Carnival Jubilee – the reason for the whole trip. LOL!
