I know, I’m a day late. Things have been a bit hectic (for everyone) thanks to the COVID-19 mess. I was scheduled for surgery next week with the pre-op stuff done on the 17th. I’ve been checking all the sites and making phone calls in an attempt to determine if the hospital might be moving to cancellation of all elective surgeries.
They haven’t as yet, but my doctor’s nurse and I along with my husband made the decision to delay/reschedule/postpone my surgery. They had a cancellation for April 27th and booked me into that slot. Other than that, it would be late May (my surgeon is always booked two months ahead). Now we just hope the virus has been brought back under control and the surgery on the 27th will proceed as planned.
So what am I working on now?
What are my future writing plans?
I’m up to chapter eleven of Paradise Dream, book four of my C’Mon Inn Mysteries. My hope is to finish it in the next couple of weeks, then on to edits before publishing. I also am trying to get new covers for all four books, giving them a stronger sense of mystery but with a cozy feel.
In the works is a new series. It will be a cozy mystery involving a 40-something couple who chuck the corporate world, by an Airstream trailer and travel the country with their dog, Megabyte. Their names are Jackson (Jax) & Stephanie (Steph) Hunt and their company is Hunt & Tech. Oh, did I mention they are geeks? Computer experts? Consultants? Their business tagline is “Have tech, Will travel”. It will be a trilogy to start, we’ll see how well it goes before writing more books.
Then it will be back to Always on Duty, the prequel to my Klondike Mystery series. I have a start but got stalled and the Hunt & Tech kind of took control of my brain. Hey, it happens! LOL!
Thank you.
