Here is my contribution to this week’s Sunday Photo Fiction prompt.
She took the photo as instructed, glad they let her hide behind her sun glasses. Glasses that hid the swollen black eye she had gotten when they took her.
One of them grabbed the phone and pushed her back onto the chair while the other bound her hands again.
The two of them whispered before doing something on her phone. She suspected they were texting the photo out to the world. She smiled to herself. They had no idea what that meant.
She was the face of the revolution. But more than that, she was the brains behind it. This was no run of the mill cell phone but they didn’t have the smarts to realize that.
But they would soon, very soon.
…. three hours later
The sounds of gunfire erupted outside the building. Black masked men broke through the door. She was safe again. Viva la revolución!
Thank you.
They clearly had no idea what or who they were dealing with!
My story is but a click away!
Thanks, Keith (can you tell how far behind I am…going to get worse until November….)
A Modern day Cleopatra? Clearly a brilliant force to not to be messed with.
You are so right…I loved the look on her face!
I like. At first I thought she was being a bused. Ah, but this is so much more. Ha.
My mind went a million directions until ZING, here it was!
ZING it is. I like.
