It’s been a tough month and when I started, I never truly expected to make 50k. But I did hope to finish my short story, Scared by Design, and maybe write a chapter or three in Ventis & Victims.
Well, I did finish the short story and for that, I am thankful. The idea for this came last spring when I entered the first 500 words into a competition for inclusion in an anthology. I didn’t make it (competition was tough but I was okay with not being accepted), but I wanted to write the story. It’s just the first draft and it will sit till sometime next year when I’m ready to start book one in the series.
So, not a NaNo winner but for getting my mojo back, I’m giving myself a GOLD STAR!
