I’m still working on the third story in the Harpertown Cozy Mystery short reads, A DEADLY HEART. I hope to have the first draft done before we head out on the 2nd for our January vacation.
Right now I think it will come in around 15k words, similar to A DEADLY YULETIDE and a bit longer than A DEADLY HAPPENING. But it could be shorter and could be longer. I mean, right now I’m in the middle of chapter five and they just found the dead body. Lots of angst and red herrings ahead! Be sure you’ve gotten the first two books and enjoy the characters!
One of my readers asked if these would come out in print versions. Individually, they are too short. At some point I might put all three into a boxset. But not for a while…
