Loving Small Delights, Simple Pleasures, & Significant Memories…

  • Licks from a puppy: Something they love to do and I love to watch happen to others. LOL!
  • Looks: Loving looks, especially from your hubby/partner/significant other
  • Laughter: Babies laughing uncontrollably – one of the best sounds in the world.
  • Log cabins: I’ve always loved them and for years considered buying/building one. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve gotten more realistic about the work involved in maintaining them properly. Now I’ll settle for looking at them.
  • Lakes in the mountains: They make me yearn for that lifestyle, but again. Aging brings the reality of needing to live where you can get medical care close at hand. So, again, I’ll settle for looking at them.
  • Lyrics to a song you love: And you know them all, not just the chorus. 
  • Ladybugs: The real ones, not the imported Asian lady beetle!
  • Listening: Sitting on my back deck and listening to my chimes, the spring peepers, our neighbors donkey braying. Simple pleasures…

  3. Loving…Long endearing Looks from the hubby; Licks-I love animal licks (I know I’m strange); Lakes (any body of water really); Lilacs-my favorite flower; Listening-birds, crickets, water flowing, etc. Honestly, I could hang out on your deck for hours with that view and those pups.

  6. Didn’t think I would like licks from dogs but now that we have one, I do. Listening to the lyrics of favorite songs is another good one.

  7. I had to agree and then have a little chuckle about the lyrics. It’s always amusing when you realise you’ve been singing the wrong words! 😆
