But it is – well, almost. Two more days and it will be a month since my last post. The cruise went well, we enjoyed ourselves tremendously, ate a lot of food, met a ton of great people, watched some amazing entertainment, and came home exhausted.
I did get some writing done but not as much as I had hoped for – thanks to the interesting people that sat near me. A lot of chatting was done, a lot of business cards were handed out, hey – maybe someone will buy a book!
When we got home on Monday, there was a lot of work to get done. Unpacking, laundry, shampooing the living room carpet (that we didn’t get done before we left), laundry, picking up the dogs, laundry, dealing with back emails and other to-do items, laundry, sorting and up loading over 900 photos, laundry, and taxes. Oh, did I mention laundry?
But it’s a new week and I think I’m back on track. Writing will commence this week!
Here are a couple of shots from our photo album. If you’re interested, you can see the unculled 900+ photos on SmugMug.
Sorry for the photo overload…hope you enjoyed them!

Looks like a ton of fun! My husband wants to go on a cruise but we haven’t made it yet.

I like the carpeting in the staterooms a lot better than the other ships. Glad you had some more extravaganza type shows. Ours were ALL comedians in the showroom. No thanks. The violinists were on our cruise as well. They were fantastic.

We’ve been impressed with all the violin trios we’ve encountered on the cruises. Always fun to listen to. In January, all we had was comedians thanks to COVID. It’s so nice to see so much more now!

Love your enthusiasm! I think we were on the same cruise & I saw you the night your husband wore his kilt! Enjoy your Carnival duffel bag!!!

How cool is that? Of course, there were two other gentlemen also wearing kilts. One of them had his whole family (wife, 2 kids) also in full tartan gear. Such fun – wish I had gotten their photo but we were waiting for Chris (the CD).
